Visit #7! The first day of my appointment I challenged hazelnut, pecan, and sesame seeds. Hazelnuts are one of my worst allergens. However, prior to the program, I ate sesame seeds frequently on bagels, sushi, and burger buns. After I ate the food, I exercised for 5 minutes and I passed! I am now currently eating 1/4 tsp of ground hazelnut every day but will be escalating to 1tsp ground hazelnut. I am also eating 2 1/2 teaspoons of ground pecan.
The second day, I tried cashew and peanut gelatin. Because it was a test day, I ate the food and sat there for 15 minutes. I ate 15mg of ground cashew in a gummy. The peanut gelatin contained 1mg of peanuts - a very very small amount. The peanut gummy is flavored as strawberry lemonade. The nuts are put in gummies because of how small the amount is, it ensures that the patient will eat all of it.
